ICHABOD NORTON

Ichabod Norton was a Tisbury farmer, the son of Eliakim and Hannah (Butler) Norton. Although his parents were residents of Edgartown, they removed to Norridgewock, Maine and so Ichabod was born in Farmington, Maine. For many years was a resident of Somerset County, Maine. He died of "lung fever" (now better known as "pneumonia.")
